Update regarding Damien Rice’s December 1 concert at the Auditorium Theatre: The previously scheduled general public on-sale date of Friday, May 19 has been moved to Friday, June 2 at 10:00 am.

Damien Rice was born in Ireland, and his first album 'o' was recorded at home and self-released in Ireland. Numerous tours followed, along with two more albums '9' and 'My Favourite Faded Fantasy'. Having the unconventional tendency to prefer walking on stage with no setlist, Rice also prefers to travel by sailboat rather than by tour bus, and is planning a sailboat-tour in the Mediterranean in the summer of 2023. 

Having recently completed a sold-out tour in Europe, he is currently on tour in Australia with a string of dates across South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia & Hong Kong to follow in June. Four shows have just been added in the U.S. including one night at the Auditorium Theatre on Friday, December 1, which will be his first Chicago performance in eight years and his only Midwest performance in 2023.
