Last month, Mitski released her new album The Land Is Inhospitable And So Are We via Dead Oceans to an overwhelming wealth of praise, with the record deemed “one of her best” by The New York Times and “her most cohesive work to date” (Stereogum). Since the album’s release, she’s been presenting all acoustic performances of The Land in intimate venues in select cities in North America, the UK and Europe. Today, Mitski announces her highly anticipated proper touring plans for the album. The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We Tour kicks off in the new year and will see Mitski and her full band playing multiple nights in some of North America’s most beautiful seated theaters, including Chicago’s historic Auditorium Theatre.
